Course Description:


Pre-Calculus means preparation for Calculus and will be taught as such. This course emphasizes mathematical thinking, the use of mathematical models, and the understanding of mathematical functions and graphs. Specified topics include equalities and inequalities, operations with real numbers, radical and absolute value equations, polynomial functions, rational functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, matrices, vectors, limits, and derivatives. This course is rigorous and it will prepare you for AP Calculus and College math regardless whether you are going to AP Calculus or not.
