William Linville earned a BA in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (go Badgers!), while also earning 34 Mathematics credits. Following graduation, he was selected to the NYC Teaching Fellows program and earned his MST with a Math concentration from Pace University.
Mr. Linville has over 13 years of experience teaching in the DOE at the middle and high school level, with the previous 8 years spent teaching at The Cinema School in the Bronx. There he taught Algebra 1, Geometry and AP Statistics. In June 2019, he was awarded with a Master Teacher Fellowship from Math for America.
In his spare time, Mr. Linville loves to stay active. He enjoys hiking, biking, running, and playing sports like tennis, golf and soccer.
