Rebecca Bennett earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from the University of Florida in 2005. She received a NYC Teaching Fellowship and moved to New York after graduation.
Ms. Bennett joined Eleanor Roosevelt High School in January 2006. She has taken on several teaching assignments since then and is currently teaching AP Art History, Visual Art I, Advanced Art, Ceramics, and Digital Photography.
In her spare time, Ms. Bennett is an artist and avid runner. Several of her botanical studies were recently published in Larry Schokman's Plants of the Kampong. Ms. Bennett has completed ten NYC Marathons, and acts as a running guide for Achilles International, which enables individuals with disabilities to participate in athletic events.
