Rebecca Bennett earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from the University of Florida in 2005. She received a NYC Teaching Fellowship and moved to New York after graduation.
Ms. Bennett joined Eleanor Roosevelt High School in January 2006. She has taken on several teaching assignments since then and is currently teaching AP Art History and Global Literature I. Ms. Bennett is also the Services for Students with Disabilities Coordinator.
In her spare time, Ms. Bennett is an artist and avid runner. Ten of her botanical studies were recently published in Larry Schokman's Plants of the Kampong. Ms. Bennett has completed eight NYC Marathons, and acts as a running guide for Achilles International, which enables individuals with disabilities to participate in athletic events.
